Welcome from the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, International

Curtin University is an international university with a rapidly expanding global footprint.  Curtin has a diverse population of students from more than 130 countries. The University takes its name from the Prime Minister of Australia from 1941–45, John Curtin, and its values reflect the leadership and strength associated with one of Australia's pre-eminent Prime Ministers.

A global university, Curtin has offshore campuses in Singapore, Malaysia and Dubai. Each campus is well placed geographically to forge strong links with community and industry, upholding our reputation as a university serving its region. The University also boasts a strong alliance with The University of Aberdeen offering a range of postgraduate and HDR opportunities.  Additional successful partnerships to offer courses in Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Mauritius, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. We see mobility as an important element in our endeavour to provide every student an international education experience, and actively encourage our students to contemplate time abroad.
